About Us

Seven meters high with the sweet hissing sound, the Ssezibwa Falls are located 35km east of Kampala, in Mukono District. The spectacular waterfalls are believed to have been born by a human many hundred years ago and are one of the most spiritual and cultural entities where many natives flock for blessings, wealth, and fortunes.

The Ssezibwa Falls are on River Ssezibwa, which flows from the wetlands between Lake Victoria and Lake Kyoga. Endowed with a wide natural vegetation cover, Ssezibwa is a great habitat for several bird and butterfly species, which present a wonderful opportunity for bird & butterfly watching.

Ssezibwa Falls is tobacco & drug-free as instructed by the Uganda law.
Children must be always supervised by an adult.
